Who killed the comments?
Imagine my surprise when a new blog layout appeared out of nowhere this afternoon. I think it looks good and lot more modern. There is a small problem. "The new blog has killed the comments" emailed Capt Raiumus." They do seem to have disappeared off the screen, but fear not as we do have a copy of them and any requests made for tonight's show still stands.
I have asked the blog detectives to look into the missing comments. If any member of the public has any clue as to the whereabouts of the missing comment s then we urge you to come forward with any information you might have.
UPDATE: The comments have returned safe and well! Hurrah!!

Even better news 鈥 we now have non-ASCII characters. So we can request artistes like Einst眉rzende Neubauten, Sigur R贸s and Bj枚rk Gu冒mundsd贸ttir, or tracks like 驴Y T煤 Qu茅 Has Hecho?
Even 鈥漜urly quotes鈥 work 鈥 along with proper dashes.

You don't need it. If you want to go 'Back to Top' click on whatever thread you want under 'Topical posts on this blog'
If you want to see the most recent comment click on 'Post your comment' (the purple bar on top).

At 28th Apr 2009, DC wrote:#11, Scotch, thanks for that tip. HOWEVER, the reason I sometimes go back to the top is to check details on the theme etc. I could be half way through typing up a post and need to look at the blog heading. Previously I would press 'back to top' and check things out before returning to my comment. Now, the comment gets wiped out.
I found the 'Recent posts' bit useful because, if we were running a number of 'conversations' on various blog entries (eg 'Next weeks themes' and 'Who killed the comments', I could simply refresh the top of the page to see who has posted and where. Now, I have to keep track of the bracketted number after the 'Topical posts from this blog' column.

So I'd like to suggest Sheep by The Housemartins.
It's very rainy today so hopefully the little sheep aren't getting too wet.
