I've just been part of a 'good news after a period of hanging-on' story...one of my old schoolchums discovered pretty late in life that she's adopted...she's been trying to trace her birth-relatives without too much luck. Pretty frustrating. She was researching a particular surname and today...as a long-shot...asked her Edinburgh friends if we might just know anyone of that name, living in a specific part of town...I do...she got in touch, and it turns out I've been working beside 2 of her cousins for the past 10 years!!! Play this for her...she's living in Florida so won't hear it but... :o)
