Read her blog. Tuesday 4 November - Election dayToday we ran a fun surf competition outfront- five Sunburnt Grommets (young surfers), five weird boards from under the house (7.6 Gun, Big Fat Fish, massive yellow longboard, Finless 6.0 and a bodyboard), two frothing Judges (Joel and Martin) and waist high monster mush. It was perfect for our little morning sesh. It was simple really- you had 10 minutes to wow the judges with as many waves and moves as possible for a simple score out of 10 given by the judges. Tassy in action Once the 10 minutes was over, we had to run back in and grab the next weird board off the beach to do it all over again. We kept this up until everyone had used every board, then Joel and Martin announced the winner. In the end George won due to a pretty good 360 on the finless board, scoring him a nine in total. It was a great day today, but tomorrow the swell is dropping off again, causing even smaller waves. On the bright side, looking at the weather charts at home - the only thing forcast is 2 ft onshore Baltic conditions. I'm not complaining!
