My name is Paul Geddes and although only 34 at the present time and thus much too young to remember the war myself, both of my parents have vivid memories of their childhoods during the war and have told me many of their experiences, as well as those of other members of the family.
I would be fascinated to hear from anyone who knew any of my family members who were involved, namely my grandparents Bernard and May Heale (farmers in Kent) and Frank (Bill) Geddes (R.A.F. Regiment) and Kathleen Agnes Geddes, my grandmother's cousin Wilfred Shewell-Cooper (Catering Corps) and my great uncles Leonard Geddes (Chaplain), Bernard (Henry) Geddes (Royal Artillery), Geoffrey Reddaway and Peter Reddaway. Any memories of any of them (good or bad) from people who were not members of their families would be of great interest.
