Supernova returns to ´óÏó´«Ã½ TWO for second series
Bill (Damion Hunter)
Bill is Pip's much younger Aboriginal boyfriend, Paul's spiritual guide and the local mechanic in town.
Ìý
In Supernova II we'll discover that Bill has even more strings to his bow: champion camel jockey, qualified marriage celebrant, couples' counsellor and masseur, to name but a few.
Ìý
Bill can play the ancient tribal mystic to the hilt when it suits him, but at heart he's a practical man of simple pleasures. His priorities are an easy life, earning a quick buck and attempting to drag Paul into as many of his scams as possible.
Ìý
In an observatory staffed by tightly-wound intellectuals, Bill is a laid back breath of sanity about the place.

Damion Hunter plays Bill
Damion Hunter says that in series two Bill is "a more lovable character and is much more involved. He's the nonchalant layman who steps in and provides an everyday perspective on things. He's quietly cool, not much of a talker.
Ìý
"Bill doesn't get the science terminology, but he does
try to make the most out of every opportunity, which I like."
Ìý
Damion feels he benefited greatly from playing alongside a seasoned professional like Kris McQuade: "We know each other a lot better now; she's very experienced and there are things I learnt from her every day."
Ìý
He was also thrilled to discover that a number of his other co-stars in the new series were of the four-legged variety – in the shape of camels.
Ìý
"I love working with animals, they're amusing and entertaining creatures. My favourite camel was Baldy and I believe if animals like you, you have a good soul. They started calling me 'the camel whisperer' on set!"
Ìý
Damion Hunter graduated from the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in 1998. He has since had roles in the stage production of Loves Triumph, and the television series Farscape.
Ìý
In 2006, Hunter will be seen in the film Footy Legends and
will be heard rapping on the soundtrack of Project Greenlight winner Morgan
O'Neill's - and voice of Chad in Supernova - first feature film Solo.
