Ben never finished college. He鈥檚 not that bothered.

As an only child, Ben鈥檚 parents doted on him as a boy and dote on him still as a fully grown boy. Frankly, he鈥檚 been mollycoddled. Matthew鈥檚 flat is the first place he鈥檚 lived as an adult and it鈥檚 his first time on his own two feet, and he needs to be looked after. If anything, he is the surrogate son to Matthew, his surrogate Mum, and Tom, his surrogate Dad.
He has little interest in going outside the flat. He prefers it inside, it鈥檚 safer there. Ben鈥檚 ideal day is spent mostly in the bath, followed by watching three films in the afternoon and perhaps playing Fifa. He is easily pleased; content; by far the happiest of the three. He messed up childhood the first time, he鈥檚 not going to mess it up the second time.
