Di has faced another test of her Welsh, when she took part in an initiative to raise the profile of libraries by reading a Welsh book to school children.
Pupils from Ysgol Gynradd Castell Nedd gathered round to hear the story at Neath Library.

Paul Doyle, who is responsible for reader development at Neath Port Talbot Library Services, said: "Di did a terrific job. She really does seem to be getting to grips with the language and the children were engrossed."

"It was lovely," said Di. "I really liked those children, they were very nice and very well behaved. Their Welsh was much better than mine and they helped me out. I was very nervous but I tried to do it as well as I could. Then I relaxed into it and I really enjoyed it."
