The new TV series of The Big Welsh Challenge has now arrived on our screens. The four programmes will follow the ups and downs of the celebrities as they spend twelve months trying to master the Welsh language.
Four daunting challenges will give them the chance to show off what they have learnt, or show up what they have failed to learn. In the first programme they will be performing Sosban Fach - and it will not be the traditional version of the song which they had expected.
The following three weekly programmes will chart the learners' progress as they are plunged into the world of Welsh folk dancing when they call the steps at the G诺yl Ifan. When the chair of the Gonildeb historical society dies in suspicious circumstances, the celebrities are called upon to help solve the murder mystery. And the bar is raised for the final challenge when the team have to do a bit of what they are famous for - but in Welsh.
Whether they succeed or fail in their challenges is for you to judge. Let us know what you think. Send your views to us at learnwelsh@bbc.co.uk - watch out for your reaction on this site.
