Tess visits the first stop on the Grampian tour. Using a tourist guide-book, she goes on a journey through the Grampian mountain range. She starts in Glencoe then takes a gondola ride to the top of Ben Nevis, finding out how this mountain range was formed.

Students could create their own short tourist information recordings about Ben Nevis, Glencoe or a land feature nearby. Students could include information about the name of their location, its history, and descriptions of how the feature was formed. These could be listened to by other students and then, working in pairs, students could recount what they have learned from the recording to their partner.
