The Saturday Live week starts on a Tuesday when we all bundle into the office, read your emails, drink coffee, read the papers, drink some more coffee and seek out extraordinary tales... Last week we were fixating on spiders. So far this week we've been talking about nuclear testing, police mystics and the last glass eye maker in town...
Becky's trying to pin down a mail order bride and her 'orderer', and Producer Torquil, still gloating about Scotland's weekend trouncing of France, has found a man with an underground bunker in the West country. But if you have any better ideas - if you know of someone who's had a fascinating and as yet untold experience - then do let us know. We'd love to hear from you. But enough asking. We're a proud bunch on Saturday Live and we're off to hit the phones. Spider recorders aren't ten a penny, you know.
