Spiders and Nazis
A bleary good morning from Room 6045 Broadcasting House. I'm the Exec Producer on Saturday Live and the team and I are about to go into a meeting to thrash through ideas for this week's show...
We're currently investigating stories from to . All human life is here.
But we're also trying to track down someone who collects something other people might consider truly strange. Not or , but , or something quite dark. Do you know anyone who collects something other people would find disturbing?
We're also looking for - perhaps by accident - but with major consequences. You know the scene - you're trying not to mention it and then it just slips out. Ouch. Any chance you could help us out?
If you or anyone you know has a story along these lines do drop us an email with your phone number on and we'll call you back. All extraordinary stories welcome.
Best get off to that meeting now.
All the best.
Maria.
There was a store in Miami Florida dedicated to Gothic Memorabilia but it was closed down because civic groups protested the display of Nazi Symbols inside the store.
Complain about this postHello. I love the show! Until I heard part of your item about spiders -yuk! I was amazed to hear that there are supposed to be less of THEM around this year. I know where most of them are - in my house, particularly in my bedroom! We regularly put out - as far away as possible - 3 to 5 spiders every day of the year, almost all 4 to 7 cm long. Up to about 5 years ago the ones we saw were all about 1 - 1.5 cm and I had no problems with them but now I am scared of them! How do we know they are not foreign imports and perhaps poisonous?
Complain about this postPlease publish the incy wincy spider poem - Brilliant - it epitomises the way we live our modern lives and such wit and humour brought a smile to my face first thing on a Saturday morning!
Complain about this postTurned off as items on poo make it as low as it can get. Sad presenter.
