Horse Whisperer: Sarah Kreutzer
Sarah’s early life was troubled and as a young woman she felt restless and
uncertain about the direction her life would take. After her best friend died in
an horrific riding accident, Sarah was plunged into a depression that lasted for
many months.
However, her life was turned around thanks to a book given to her by her mother.
After reading The Man Who Listens To Horses by Monty Roberts, Sarah went to the
US to study horse whispering with the author. She had an aptitude
for communicating with horses and realised she could use the same techniques
on children with problems. On her return to the UK Sarah set up her school for children at her farm in North Yorkshire.
Sarah believes horses and people benefit from mutual respect and understanding
and that there are no bad horses or bad children – just misunderstood ones.
