16 December: Eel pie, anyone?
Thanks to our guest presenter Louise Rennison, and our poet Lemn Sissay, who summed up this week's goings on in lyrical style.
We kicked off with tales from the Thames courtesy of an eel fisherman, a podcast on secret knitting and a guerilla report from Clanabogan in Northern Ireland on a home-made Santa's grotto. We heard from a woman whose daughter was groomed on the internet, got a slice of philosophy from a professional gift wrapper, and Jon Snow topped it all off with his Inheritance tracks.
Update:
Listen again to this edition of Saturday Live (16 December 2006).
Wooly jumpers for eels not popular in NZ so alternative use found.
