Chile Coup: Mike Gatehouse
The coup in Chile took place on September 11 1973. Mike was working for the Chilean Forestry Institute at the time and was also involved in local community work. He was arrested and held in a football stadium with hundreds of others before the British Embassy secured his release.

I am an actor at the Miskin Theatre in dartford and we are basing our next show around the chilean disaster in 1973.
so we do not get any facts wrong we are looking to talk to and get some information off of people that were in the stadium or just in Chile at the time i was just wondering if you could send me some information or even if you would like to talk to us that would be great.
