Does any one else think that referring to the Foreign Secretary simply by his surname demonstrates a basic lack of respect? As in the headline on the ´óÏó´«Ã½ website headed "Terror 'apologists' must share blame - Hammond". Not until the 3rd paragraph is his title even referred to and then without even the courtesy of capital letters. Like him or hate him shouldn't we at least acknowledge the office?
Is this a symptom of modern society whereby courtesy is a dirty word and politeness is a sign of weakness?
It's a headline - a snappy title that has to tell the story with a limited word count. Respect has nothing to do with it.
