Husband and wife team Carol and Neil Bailey make a confident start, with a demonstration of their reusable bags and hints of a potentially lucrative supermarket contract.
Julie Meyer seems to like the bags themselves but wants to know how far along the company is. Neil admits they're not yet trading.
Shaf Rasul has concerns of his own. By asking for £25,000 in return for 25% equity Neil has valued the company at £100,000. Shaf just can't see how the duo can justify that valuation.
Julie wants more detail about the supermarket interest and Carol reveals they are in early discussions through an assistant buyer.
Despite her earlier interest Julie thinks it's too early to invest in the business and declares herself out. Shaf would have liked Carol and Neil to enter the Den with firm orders behind them. He too is out.
Carol and Neil pack up their bags and leave the Den empty handed.
