Last year Samantha appeared in the Den with an anti-theft device. Her "fake TV" didn't work during her pitch and she walked away without investment.

Undeterred Samantha returns to the Den with another anti-theft device, a retro-fitting curtain closer that people who are away from home can use during their absence.

However in an unfortunate repeat of her last encounter, again her demonstration fails.

While that clearly unimpressed the Dragons worse is to come - she tells Peter Jones that her curtain prototype retails for £69.99.

She explains the high cost is due to the fact that it costs between £400 and £500 to have a curtain track system set up in the first place.

Deborah Meaden chips in and says she simply doesn't like the product - the curtains (when they eventually work) draw back too slowly.

Samantha replies that at least they show there is movement in the house and in an era when many people can no longer rely on neighbours to keep an eye on things, they serve a need.

Duncan Bannatyne wants to know how much money Samantha has made on her previous invention, the fake TV.

Samantha confesses she has only made a profit of £10,000 so far.

Duncan wants to know whether he was right the last time not to invest in Samantha to the tune of £275,000.

She concedes he probably was.

Theo Paphitis want to know what she wants from the Dragons and she admits in an emotional exchange that she is primarily after help and business advice.

James Caan thinks that Samantha has wasted her precious second chance in the Den. he concedes that she clearly has get-up-and-go but that she hasn't demonstrated in the year she has been away that she is commercially viable as an inventor. For those reasons he is out.

Theo points out as a personality she is the sort he would want to instinctively support but that he could never see that he could make money on either of her inventions. Maybe next time she came back he might but for now he is out.

Peter Jones disagrees with Theo. he would not encourage Samantha to return to the Den a third time and her ideas are simply not good enough - "until you get an idea that is commercially viable, you don't deserve investment." With that he declares himself out.

Deborah Meaden is a little more emollient. She thinks Samantha has success in her - but it will not come with this idea. She, too, is out.

Duncan asks himself whether this is an investment he could make work for them both.

Samantha tries to convince the Scot that it would be money well spent but he is having none of it - he too is out and Samantha, for the second time, leaves the Den empty handed.
