Hello. We are a voluntary community IT Centre based in the village of Chatton, near Wooler, in North Northumberland. The centre is facilitated by Northumberland College, sponsored by UK Online and funded with New Opportunities Funding.
We have 3 computers all with access to the internet, and there is always a facilitator on duty to help at each session. There is a trained tutor on the Thursday morning session. We can also arrange other IT courses and individual training as per demand.
We are already building up a collection of WW2 stories to keep for our parish records, which we would like to share with you as part of this project. We have also hosted a WW2 afternoon tea which was a great success and are planning a further one for late August/September, back by popular demand!
Please call in with your stories and photos. You can find us in the Chatton Parish hall, the green hut behind the First School as follows:
Mons 6-8pm, Weds 3-5pm, Thurs 10-12noon (school term times. We look forward to hearing from you.
