'Inger-land, Inger-land, Inger-land'. For me, there are three things in a bloke's life - women, beer and football. We get behind our lads, we take them all the way, we're proud as punch because football's everything to us.

You can see a direct comeback after we're singing and chanting at the players -- you can see them lift. They appreciate us and we get the odd glance looking at us. At the beginning of each match, everyone's a stranger but once the game gets going, we're a family, all arm in arm singing, dancing and enjoying the awesome atmosphere. I love it.

In England, even when it's an early kick-off, the pubs will open up. I like to get together with the lads over a beer at our local boozer. We'll be singing behind the lads. I'm sad that I'm not going to the real thing but you've got to have the pennies, haven't you? But we'll be 100% behind the lads - shirts on, flags waving, voices loud. 'Come on the England!'

This year's official World Cup Song is 'We're on the Ball', a reworking of an old Arsenal anthem and sung by Ant and Dec, aka Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly. The earliest English football song discovered was by Gracie Fields back in 1931. It was a music hall ditty called 'Pass, Shoot Goal' which can be heard on Bend It Football Albums, (Exotica Records, '91, '92, '93', '94 and Flair, '89)
