DO YOU HAVE A WW2 STORY TO TELL?
Leicester City Libraries service is hosting an event in association with the 大象传媒 WW2 People's War website on Wednesday 17 November 2004, all day from 9.30am to 4pm, at St Barnabas Library.
On the day there will be an opportunity to add your personal or your family's WW2 story to the 大象传媒 website, so come along and share your story, experiences and wartime photographs if you have any.
Refreshments will be available all day.

The Lord Mayor of Leicester, Councillor Piara Singh Clair, will be visiting the library between 11.30am and 2.00pm, to share his experiences with us.
The event is open to every body - you are most welcome.
But if you are unable to come between the above times, you can drop in at any other time and tell/share your own or your family's experiences. We will help people to write their story onto the People's War web site.
THE PEOPLE'S WAR IN LEICESTER CITY LIBRARIES
Leicester City Libraries service is supporting the People鈥檚 War project by providing free Internet access at all our community libraries for people who wish to contribute their own memories of World War II to the website.
If you know how to use computers and have your own e-mail address you can set up your own personal page on the website where you can write your story. Other people can visit this page, read your memories and respond to them.
If you do not have an e-mail address, many libraries have set up their own pages so that you can add your memories to a local collection. Telephone your local library to find out more.
