She began her career at Phillips Auctioneers in 1986, soon joining the British, Victorian and Topographical paintings department as a specialist. In 1995, she moved into the field of Prints & Multiples before joining Christie's in 2009.
Alexandra's knowledge of paintings and prints covers works from the 17th century to the present day but she has a particular interest in 20th century British art. She was excited to discover a powerful portrait by the War Artist, Eric Kennington at one Roadshow.
