Dream find: |
My dream find would be a Kakiemon porcelain elephant, models made in the late 17th c. by artists who would have never seen a real elephant. The models would have been based on prints and because of this, they look like fantastic creatures. I would love to see one on the Roadshow.

Originally from Dijon in France, Alex studied at the University of Burgundy before completing her master's degree in Japanese Art History at the University of Edinburgh.
She is now an auctioneer and expert working for Woolley and Wallis in Salisbury, having founded a new, specialist Japanese department.
