My dream find is a silver-gilt or gold mounted hardstone cup carved by the Miseroni family. Or wouldn't it be amazing to discover an unrecorded Mughal jewel? Fingers crossed!

Kate is a jewellery and silver specialist.

After obtaining a BA in architecture from Washington University in St Louis, USA, she moved to the UK in 2005 to study for an MA in History of Art from the University of Glasgow and at Christie's Education.

After ten years at Christie's, she joined Lyon & Turnbull in 2017. Kate is also a Fellow of the Gemmological Association of Great Britain.

When she's not looking through a loupe, Kate likes to snowshoe, travel with her husband and explore London's parks with their dog.
