"Nature is full of surprises, so the programme can investigate fascinating and challenging areas in
our relations with the natural world without being too technical or preachy. My job is brilliant because, as a link between the listener and the subject, I can discover new information and ideas which help people make up their own minds on important issues."

The humble Urchin, or more commonly known as Hedgehog. (c) ´óÏó´«Ã½ |
THE URCHIN IN TROUBLE
One of the most adaptable and much-loved British mammals is the Urchin, more commonly known as the hedgehog. Sadly, the population of the humble hedgehog is disappearing under our noses and we’re not sure why?
Paul Evans talks to scientists and conservationists who are piecing together the secretive and misunderstood world of the hedgehog, in an attempt to discover what is causing the decline. Through ‘Hogwatch’ there is an opportunity for all hedgehog enthusiasts to contribute to vital research. |
