Volunteers from the Society act as an interface to allow local people who do not normally have access to the Internet to make personal visits and tell their stories.
These not only provide a means of recording but act as a valuable resource for future contacts in the event of local exhibitions being mounted.
On July 7th 2005 volunteers will man the Local History centre in Cranleigh Library for the special Peoples War day where we hope to get many more stories.
