Prash, 47
Urological Cancer Surgeon - Birmingham
Prash is a 47-year old urological cancer surgeon and one of the country’s leading pioneers in prostate cancer gene and immune therapy. As well as his medical and academic commitments, Prash is a keen mountaineer and explorer, recently coming back from an expedition in the Himalayas. His love of space got him in trouble aged thirteen, when he tried to build his own rocket in school out of fireworks, that lead to his parents telling him to knuckle down and forget his boyhood dreams of being an astronaut. He did as he was told, but never forgot his dream. Since then he has closely followed the space industry from afar, hoping that one day he could be a part of it all. Prash lives in Birmingham with his wife, a GP, and 15-year-old son, and is also a keen cyclist.
