Energy Consultant - Loughborough
James H is a 32-year old energy consultant, and member of the GB bobsleigh squad. James is in the middle of his PhD in energy demand and has a keen interest in the planet and beyond. As a young child, he used to go to the astronomy club his father ran, and dreamt of the possibilities of space. As an adult, he made the choice to work as an energy consultant and explore some of the more extreme parts of the planet – including nine months at a copper mine in the Congo. James is a dedicated sportsman – as well as bobsleigh he plays rugby and has recently taken up discus. He lives in Loughborough with his fiancée and their 2-year-old daughter and has recently trained as a sports massage therapist.
