Hannah is a 52-year old dentist from Derry. She became the first woman from Northern Ireland to summit Mount Everest in 2007; and also represents Northern Ireland in cross country running and Ireland in the triathlon, duathlon, ultra-distance running and mountain running. Her inspiration to achieve her dreams began when watching the moon landings in the 1960s, and meeting Tim Peake at a recent Buckingham Palace reception for explorers rekindled her passion for space. Hannah also likes hill walking, cycling and running marathons and ultramarathons.
