Fred, I am seriously impressed with your progress. You seem to be getting on amazingly quickly. Look forward to more updates! Next week the conservatory?? Good luck.

I, well I, you know, I just couldn't do that, I'm amazed at people that can uproot, from a comfortable home, then have to re-build in a different place, not really knowing if it is going to work out. When we moved up, we never had anything, so it didn't matter to us, and the houses where we stayed were just temps. until we found our ideal home, but you are doing it from scratch. I wish you all the best, and hope that you settle in quickly, to the way of things. Good Luck Fred...

I am impressed with your progress too Fred, We started off like that but after a year and a bit we needed to slow down. Now we get Sundays Off (haha)

Wow, i wish my blokey was that useful, i don't know about you being a locksmith for a profession here, it seems to me you could be much more useful to the island people doing the things your doing to your own place that we can't find/get anyone to do LOL You don't do roofs as well do you? lol. I thought i'd leave you time to settle in and get your space sorted out a bit before coming over expecting you to put the kettle on for me, i will visit soon though.

I heard that this blog is like a tv show (home improvement and such): it's all done ahead of time, and the postings come out at regular intervals. Isn't that so, Fred old pal? Fred is already sitting in the finished house in the parlor, squatting in front of his LCD HDTV. Just make sure you don't mix up the order of presentation, Fred, or you might end up on Craggy Island too, as Gambling Ted's neighbor.

Chinese chimney pots, Fred? The only pots I know were Chinese chamber pots, a rather steady and reassuring feature of my shared bedroom.

Thank you ALL for your so kind words...Tanith roofing is the only thing I have never tried, I suppose if it came to it I will give it a go?.......locksmithing was my side line when I eventually go back to work who knows when that will be LOL. Bareraes, I know what you mean, but I have been good not to work on Sundays so far that is my rest day.....and time I go out with the kiddies. MJC I cant wait to sit down in this lounge and relax its like a cavern at the moment......It should be the NEW CRANKY WORKSHOP?

When TWS starts appropriating the Sunroom and giving Hard Stares, then we are (I mean, he'll be) in real trouble.
