Well, while we await the kitchen, I thought its time to complete the lounge oak floor its been laid a few months now and has settled well, so on Saturday I sanded the complete area. On Monday (today) the first coat will go on while the kids are at school.
Update on the roof? still NO contractors showed maybe this year they will turn up. Who knows?
Next room to complete will be my daughter Holly, I have had strict instructions from her to paint one wall purple with a big heart shape design in pink....then little stars around it (that could be challenging) LOL

Yes.. the roofers turned up Monday, which made me very happy after 15 months of trying to arrange this, Not this company they got in touch in July.
I had to get one chimney breast taken down, as it would have not lasted only the rendering was holding it up, it the winds blow up it could have gone throught the roof or conseratory.
Saying that these guy's are working very hard considering the weather was supposed to be better this week, what happened?
They have started at the back of the house, and today have started tiling, this will pull the house together nicely, once an old tired house coming to life again, hopefully next week we can get the front done as this has got a total patch up job on it.
Well here are the updates shots for the back near completion, then the area where the chimneys have been taken down, now the front of the house, I have to remove the storm window skews as they are ready to drop off not safe at all, the rotten timber has now been replaced and its amazing how warm the house if feeling now, after all the draughts.

Here's the back completed, they are well onto the front now......again weather's not been to good sleet and rain only 5 degrees temp, so quite nippy. But again these guys are working very well.
