The funding will help to deliver 13% recycling and composting in Argyll & Bute by 2005 / 06. Among the islands receiving funding to are Bute, Mull, Iona, Islay, Jura and Tiree."

and latest on the ongoing broadband saga:

"The Scottish Executive is to invest a further 拢1 million to encourage rural businesses to get broadband connections. Eligible companies will be able to receive 拢1,000 towards a two-way satellite system or a high-cost bespoke business broadband solution, following the success of a similar scheme launched last year which provided 3,000 businesses with broadband installations tailored to their needs. LISMORE LIGHTOUSE BAND, definately this is one up for Lismore; a Scottish Dance Band consisting of young people. It must be quite spectular to see them on stage as they play jigs, reels and marches and sing. may they have every success with their planned CD.
What would it be like if they were to do a gig in "An Talla". the place would be bursting at the seams I'm sure.
Good luck young people!!!
