Goodbye Anne and Hello from Carol

Hi fellow Islandbloggers

As we wave a fond farewell to Anne and wish her all the best in her new job, I'd like to say hello to you all and correct a terrible rumour. I did not stand you up yesterday! Alas, I was feeling poorly so spent the day tucked up at home.

I'm looking forward to reading all your blogs and getting to know you all.

Carol

Due to some necessary 'engineering' work, Island Blogging will be unavailable between approx 0700 and 1000 on Wednesday 5 December. After its had a massage and maybe even a cuppa, you should be able to post after 1000.

Festive greetings

Hello fellow Island Bloggers,

I'm mightily impressed with the all the postings and discussion. The stories insightful, sometimes funny, sometimes sad and the photos are amazing - who knew you were all such a talented bunch. It's been a busy week here at IBHQ in the run up to the festive season so I'll post details of the opening times for Christmas and New Year later today.

Thanks for all your kind words and have a lovely time over the holidays (IBHQ will be taking a quick break but will never be far - more details on this later).

Carol

Message from IBHQ for all Island Bloggers

Hello everyone

It seems that the triumphs and tribulations of 2007 have been too much for our little blogging engine which has been experiencing some difficulty lately.

Please be assured that everything is being done which can be, to get things back to normal and running smoothly again.

In the meantime, apologies for any inconvenience and thanks for bearing with us.

Carol at IBHQ
