Our news online team are inviting users to send in photos of today’s stormy weather so if you’ve taken any snaps why not send them in … after posting them on your blog, of course! ;-)
If you have photos you’d like to share with our bloggers but don't have a blog yourself you could always email them to me and I’ll post them on IBHQ.
Apologies for the problems yesterday. As you can see, everything is now back up and running as normal. Now, when are we going to get the answer from Fred? I’m on tenterhooks!

A guided tour. Touch what you like (within reason).
Having been inspired by Notthewhitesettler’s tour and with vague memories of once being asked to reveal more about IBHQ, and because it’s nearly the weekend, here’s a brief pictorial journey round Island Blogging Head Quarters…
With the recent influx of new bloggers I thought it might be worth reminding everyone about our Island Blogging posters and postcards. Featuring one of Sanday Images’ lovely photos (come back Sanday Images, we’d like to hear from you again!), they’re free to a good home.
If there’s somewhere in your community that these could be displayed - a community hall, noticeboard, staffroom, post office or shop, for example – just drop me a line at islandblogging@bbc.co.uk and I’ll send them out to you.
Just a note to let you know that from next week Island Blogging will have a new moderator. From Monday Carol will be the new point of contact at IBHQ and you can contact her via the usual channels: through the IBHQ blog or by email at islandblogging@bbc.co.uk.
I’m off to work on another site but I’ve really enjoyed virtually meeting you all.
See you at the fank...
Cheery!
Anne :)
