Broadband

A new report says: "We now have more broadband users than dial-up diehards, according to the latest figures from the UK's Office of National Statistics."

It would be interesting (and useful) to see a quick snapshot of who has broadband on an individual and island basis, and when it is promised?

Maybe we can track the delivery?

Also, here's one from Blackwaterfoot beach on Arran as the sun fades...

Will tell you next week when we get switched on.

I've supposedly gone live on the 10th of August but I'm having difficulties with me "microfilter thingimyjimmys". Hopefully to be resolved soon with new ones on there way.

Scottish Soldier from Mull

Our exchange was supposed to go live on 27 July but delays mean we're still waiting. I've had three appointment dates now, the latest being 26 August. Hopefully they'll actually do it this time! Up until now I've been managing with a pair of ISDN lines. Cheers Gary
