Spring has Sprung

We're enjoying the best weather of the year so far in the Glasgow area and it looks like spring is arriving on the islands too.

The Isles Pictures blog has some great pictures that prove my point.

Next week will be "best spring picture week" on IB. The winner will be honoured next Friday and receive a special prize, based on what's kicking round the office so get snapping.

See, this is where I find the need to protest in the strongest possible terms. You clearly note in this blog that "were enjoying the best weather of the year in the Glasgow area"..ha..caught it is quite obvious that you therefore do not live on an island....come on, fess up its a fair cop. If you can have your own blog for the Glasgow area then why cant I have one for Auchenshuggle, oh, by the way, the neds have set off the hydrant again so we have no water except that surrounding the area thus making us an island. Ernie is blowing up the dingy as we speak in order that we can row out for supplies at the co-op. Has anyone got the phone no for calmac.

Thanks for the comment. The IBHQ blog is located in Glasgow at Broadcasting House and is the exception that proves the rule ;-)

Nice one Granny E, That Corbett Street hydrant can be a real pain in the neck, especially if you forget to shut the sunroof.
