One thing about living in Alaska and then Orkney - you get used to not getting things NOW hahaha! Island Blogging is great fun and it's free and it links and connects so many people. I'm not about to complain when there are glitches. Anything with computers = rip your hair out glitches!! HAVE A GREAT DAY!

While I am a commenter, not a blogger, I appreciate all efforts to get rid of spam. I used to contribute in a similar way to another site that was wiped out by spammers ... so keep up the good work and I hope you beat the spammers for good [though I suspect they delight in attempts to destroy their behaviour].

Over the past two weeks I sent two comments to Stromness Dragon: nothing got published (there was nothing which would justify pulling them out). Can you check? Is there still a problem with SPAM, Anne? I can never remember if I've made a comment or not, so I'll make a comment on a posting, but get deja vu, then don't comment, because I think that I've already done a comment, and it hasn't filtered through yet. It's very confusing, especially for me, but I am sure that you will get it sorted. Thanks...

I have commented on TWS blog: his dairy farm, his dreams, his circus cats, but Homeland Security seems to be sitting on them. Instead comments are published in Shetland:FinallyHome in duplicates (though that may well be due to my flying fingers)

I would hate Tws to think his excellent blog had passed unnoticed! I have sent comments to him and MM and others (I think - like Tws I can't always remember if I did it or not) but nothing has appeared. We're all still out here, though, reading if not commenting! Hope your problems are cleared up soon, Anne. It must be a complete pain!
