Carol, I see at the right, the oldest blog entry is November, 2003. Does that mean IB is going to have a special anniversary this year? Any plans to commemorate the event? Parties? Awards? Games?

IB is a constant party. The favourite game is 'pin the comment on the blog' (only joking). I reread the Nov 2003 blog, which brought back some memories. What is Mike doing now?

CVBruce, hmmm, you've got me thinking. There may well be some sort of Island Blogging festival to mark the momentous occasion. After all, it's not every year that IB reaches its fifth birthday.

Carol, I have one suggestion, perhaps not a great one, but you could ask IB bloggers to blog about where they were, and what they were doing in November of 2003. It seems like a number of the bloggers are new to the islands. Perhaps some pictures of then and now. I know that for some of us older people things haven't changed that much, but I'll bet kids have grown a lot in the last 5 years, Kittens and puppies are now mature cats and dogs, and the garden on the mainland, is now a garden on an island. Anyway it was an idea, I didn't say it was a good idea.
