Angela Petrelli is Nathan and Peter's mother. At first she seems to doubt Peter's claim that he has special abilities. But it becomes clear that Angela is one of the key players in a previous generation of heroes. She supports the plan to destroy New York and works alongside Linderman. She wants Nathan to be the man the country turns to after the disaster.
She knew that Nathan's biological daughter, Claire, had survived the fire, but she let him believe she was dead. Although she works with The Company, she won't let them get to Claire and The Haitian protects her under Angela's orders.
Angela starts Season 2 devasted at the loss of her son, Peter. Things get even worse for her when she's implicated in the murder of Kaito Nakamura, and possibly the murder of her own son.

Angela is played by Cristine Sue Rose. She has appeared in various shows, including Malcolm in the Middle, Charmed, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Star Trek: The Next Generation and Gilmore Girls.
