Season 1
Linderman was the founder of Linderman Corporation and a reputed mobster. He had the ability to heal people, including Heidi, Nathan's wife, and Arthur, Nathan's father. Linderman was Adam Monroe's disciple and believed that punishing humanity would help save the world. He blackmailed Nathan into running for the election and kidnapped Micah to manipulate the electronic voting machines so that Nathan won by a landslide. Linderman received an unexpected visit from Niki and DL demanding to know of Micah's whereabouts. Linderman pulled out a gun and DL took the bullet for Niki. DL phased his fist through Linderman's skull, leaving a fist-sized hole after removing it, which killed him.
Season 3
Linderman appeared at Nathan's hospital bedside. He appeared to know exactly what to say to Nathan to gain his trust. Linderman also appeared to Daphne, recruiting her to Pinehearst. However, Linderman was in fact a manifestation from Maury, who was later killed by Arthur.
Malcolm McDowell is a British actor who was born in Leeds. He starred as the infamous Alex DeLarge in Stanley Kubrick's controversial A Clockwork Orange. He also played Dr Soran, the man who killed Captain Kirk in Star Trek: Generations.
