Season 2
Elle was on the hunt for Peter in Cork, Ireland. Her search took her to the Wandering Rocks Pub where she met Ricky. He wasn't very helpful in divulging information about Peter, so Elle, not one to mess around, killed him. Her dad, Bob, then called her back from her assignment. We later discovered that Elle had been looking after Peter in The Company after she had captured him with Bob's help. Trapped, Elle opened up to Peter about her past. At 24, she'd never been on a date and had lived a sheltered life. Having disappointed her father, Elle set out on a mission to trap Sylar, but she failed.
Season 3
It was Elle's fault that the Level 5 inmates escaped and Angela couldn't allow that to happen again. Elle found herself without a job, without a life and without her overbearing father Bob. She broke down in the Bennet's home, and confessed to Claire that she was having problems controlling her ability and had nowhere else to go. So the two girls decided to visit Pinehearst in the hope they could both be 'fixed'. It was revealed that Elle actually saved Sylar's life, and back in Pinehearst the two were reunited. However, Elle wanted revenge for the death of her father, but by the end of their reunion, Elle had collapsed in tears, and Sylar had gained her ability. She went with Sylar to find Claire and the couple shared an intimate moment during the eclipse. The romantic mood was shattered somewhat when they were interrupted by H.R.G's attempt on Sylar's life and Elle was injured in the shootout. After Sylar and Elle were whisked away to a deserted beach by Hiro, Elle tried to convince Sylar that he had changed for the better. Sylar told her that they were both damaged goods. He damaged her further by removing the top of her head and feeding on her brain, killing her in the process and proving he was far from being a softie after all.
