Isaac was an artist who lived in New York. He had the ability to paint the future during precognitive trances (primarily triggered by drugs). He also wrote and drew the comic book '9th Wonders!' which similarly depicted future events. Initially Isaac was romantically involved with Simone Deveaux. She tried to encourage him to go into rehab but Isaac thought he needed the drugs to help him paint.
He accidentally killed Simone whilst trying to shoot Peter. He then painted a picture of himself with his head sliced open, which eventually became a reality when Sylar killed him and stole his power in Season 1.
Before becoming an actor, Santiago Cabrera originally planned on becoming a footballer. As a child he spent time living in London but considers Chile his home. He starred opposite Brittany Murphy in Love and Other Disasters, as well as Haven opposite Orlando Bloom. The actor is also in Goal! 2: Living the Dream and will star in the lead role in Goal 3.
