Season 3
We met Arthur laying on a beautifully handcrafted wooden bed barely alive and fighting for his survival. With Maury as his right-hand man, Arthur was in control and his plan appeared to be working. Adam was brought to him, and through touch, Arthur stole his ability and healed himself. When Peter arrived at Pinehearst, Arthur stole his abilities too.
He tried to have Matt recruited to Pinehearst, and killed Maury when he objected. When Mohinder arrived seeking help, he cured Maya and set Mohinder to work developing the formula. Arthur tried to gain Sylar's trust and attempted to kill Peter. He then took matters into his own hands and personally went to Africa to kill Usutu, and almost murder Hiro.
On his return to Pinehearst, he learnt of the existence of a catalyst for the formula, assumed it was in Claire and sent Sylar and Elle to find her. When Nathan arrived at Pinehearst, Arthur explained his plans to take and distribute abilities at will. Nathan said he agreed but told him that he would have to be the public face of the operation. Once Mohinder had perfected the formula, Arthur travelled back 16 years to take the catalyst from Hiro.
But back at Pinehearst, he was stopped in his tracks by a gun-toting Peter. Sylar stopped Peter's bullet long enough to find out that Arthur had been lying about being his father to get him to do his bidding. Sylar let the bullet carry on, killing Arthur instantly and ending his nefarious plans once and for all.
