Knox, real name Benjamin Washington, escaped from Level 5 after Elle shut down the power grid. Getting the inmates together, he was the man with a plan. He took the group to the Federal Bank, where having called the cops, he eagerly awaited their arrival. He was after revenge and wanted H.R.G dead. The confrontation didn't go to plan and Knox ran away to escape Sylar. Knox was then recruited to Pinehearst, where he recruited Hiro, staged a confrontation with Matt to get him to trust Daphne, and then tracked down Claire. Claire escaped, and Knox returned to his employer, Arthur. But turncoat Knox soon changed sides after Arthur's death. When Peter arrived at Pinehearst to destroy the formula, Knox had an altercation with Nathan. He was killed by Tracy when she came to her partner's aid, giving him the deadly cold shoulder treatment and leaving Knox in pieces...
