Quiver: Just sold my lovely 6'4" HIC so now left with only the 9'1and a half" Roger Cooper Longboard.
Local Break: Visit 'Gennith the most but grew up surfing on-shore slop at Paignton, Devon.
Places Surfed: Devon, Cornwall, Gower, Sri Lanka, East Coast Oz.
Favourite Surf Films: "Dog Town and the Z Boys"...it's a skate and surf film but I love that grainy footage.
Worst Wipeout: Worst one that sticks out was on a big day at Polzeath 2 summers ago. Caught a sweet wave but got hammered by the lip and held down for a long time, as I came up I really needed a breath and kicked my leg to pull the board towards me. As I took a breath the board smacked me in the face and busted my eye up... as I paddled back out I couldn't see and my mates were laughing at the size of the lump!
Favourite Manoeuvre: I just like to style it on the longboard. Get the wave early, move up and down the board and keep it smooth!
Worst Surfing Habit: Hogging all the waves on the longboard - I guess that's simple greed!
Best Surfing Experience: Paddling out in Sri Lanka, the warm Indian Ocean, empty line-up (it was a few years ago!), beautiful surroundings, first rays of sunshine beating down and the knowledge that when I'd finished surfing I'd have a massive breakfast of scrambled eggs and fruit salad for 50p!
Weirdest Surfing Experience: Don't know about weirdest but the worst is being on the wrong end of localism - no need, nuff said.
Other Interests: If its flat I'll probably be out on my mountain bike doing some downhill or dirt jumping, drinking, girlfriend Kelly, football and would love to be able to say snowboarding but money won't let me!
