Years Surfing: 1 (started 4 years ago but had a big scare/near death experience on a school trip so stayed away from the water for a long while so started back this year!)

Places Surfed: South Wales - Gennith, Caswell, Langland, Aberavon, Rest Bay, Newgale. Going travelling in Thailand in November so might give it a bash if I can find a board & a decent swell!
Favourite Surf Films: Point Break, Blue Crush (Girls film I know but the life they live is just so chilled!) Lord of Dogtown (skating film but its a classic!) Billabong Odyssey.
Worst Wipeout: Thinking I was clever whilst learning and spending 30 minutes or so trying to paddle out in a storm just to start paddling, with a lame effort of trying a pop up and go crashing down, hurting my back badly in the process. Had many board-to-head accidents too!
Favourite Manoeuvre: ...lets take it slowly now
Worst Surfing Habit: Having eyes to big for my ability
Best Surfing Experience: The first time I got up on my board / Also down Gennith on a warm summers evening, surfing with one of the best sunsets in the world.
Weirdest Surfing Experience: surfing @ 2am with a full moon (ok until there`s cloud)
Other Interests: Athletics/Distance Running (Track/X-Country/Mountain...etc.), Mountain Biking, Cycling, Swimming, Jacuzzi - Sauna - Steam Room Process (yes it's a sport!) Badminton, Drawing, Photography, Cooking, Poker, Chillin' out to music, watching the sunset down the Gower with a fire, and last & least! - walking along the beach with the girlfriend. (Best hope she doesn't read this)
