Local Break: Gower, Wales.
Places Surfed: Places Surfed: South Wales, Devon & Cornwall, France, Portugal, Northern & Southern Spain, Oz, Severn Bore x2, Mallorca and Taiwan.
Favourite Surf Films: Has to be Endless Summer, as much for the political in-correctness and cheese as anything.
Worst Wipeout: Missing the take off at Marloes Sands on a 5-6ft day, being pushed to the bottom and getting my leash wrapped around a rock and wondering why I couldn't re-surface!
Favourite Manoeuvre: Just surfing.
Worst Surfing Habit: Forgetting to stop laughing after taking a big wipeout and before entering the water.
Best Surfing Experience:
January 2nd 2002, 8.00am @ Sennen Cove Cornwall - 3ft perfection no-one else in except mummy Dolphin and baby - I cried like a small crying thing, such a privilege (see pic).
Weirdest Surfing Experience:
Sitting out back at 'Outer Heads' watching a massive Leather Back Turtle glide beneath me. Obviously I didn't realise it was a turtle until I'd paddled my arms off to escape! Surfing upstream to Gloucester, now comes a close second!
Other Interests: Discovering sneaky ways of securing surf passes from my beloved better half! Trying to squeeze day to day work into my busy surf schedule and Ju Jitsu.
