Job: I've just finished a post-grad degree and am nowextremely well educated but unemployed!
Years Surfing: I was about 16yrs when I first had a go but I caught the bug properly at the beginning of this year.
Habitat: Live in the East Midlands, travelling either to the east coast (round scarborough), North Wales, South Wales or Cornwall. Have The Hussy, will travel.
Boards: Hurrah! A BIC minimal!
Places Surfed: Byron Bay and Noosa in Australia, simply sat at Margaret River gawping at the size of the waves!
Favourite Surf Films: I watched Big Wednesday on a 40ft screen on the Stella Artois screen tour a few years back... sitting on a beach with a drink, round a camp fire, watching big waves on a big screen... aaaaah.
Worst Wipeout: Being a poor swimmer with a fear of drowning makes each wipeout more fun than the last.
Best Surfing Experience: So far? Being able to stand up fairly regularly. Like the first time I made it down a mountain on a board while under control... the feeling is immense!
Other Interests: Playing in a band, snowboarding (must get cheaper hobbies), reading, cinema, photography, cooking vegetarian feasts.
